With three routes to choose from each with feed stations and full mechanical support you can be sure you’ll have a good time.

You’ll start & finish at Brookmans Park, heading quickly out onto the quiet rural paths/roads of Hertfordshire. Treated to the glorious countryside this area has to offer, including meadows and forestry to keep your legs moving. On all routes, you can look forward to a few downhills as well as a few upward lumps, where you’ll be able to take in the views to keep your mind of your legs!

Online pre-entry allows you to get this event in your diary and is the easiest way to secure your place. Numbers are limited for this event and you will be saving yourself an admin fee if you enter on-line rather than paying on the day. On-line pre-entry will also allow you to turn up on the day and just collect your entry pack without the hassle of filling in forms, registering and queuing up.
We may have to close registration on the day if the event reaches its capacity so it is best to pre enter on-line to avoid disappointment.

18 Miles
The short enjoy 18.5 miles of rural countryside across quiet roads and countryside paths and forests. The short route stick with the Long/Medium routes through Essendon, Bayford, Epping Green and Brickendon, where you’ll be able to tuck into our famous feedstop, greeted with a variety of sweet and savoury treats and hot drinks to keep you going for the last 8 miles, towards Newgate street and across farm field paths to finally take you back to the HQ!

26 Miles
The Medium loop heads out through the Essendon paths, and then up towards Little Berkhamsted through forest paths, taking in Epping Green, Bayford, Brickendon, where you’ll enjoy your first feed stop, tucking into all the free food on offer at our well renowned spread of sweet and savoury snacks. You’ll then head onto Monks Green towards Hatfield Heath, before making your return to your second feedstop at Brickendon again before you lats 8 miles, where you’ll head towards Newgate Street, across farm field paths, taking you back to the HQ at Chancellors School.

33 Miles
The Long loop sees plenty of off road terrain in this 33 mile ride, with Essenden, Little Berkhamsted, Epping Green and Bayford to give you a nice warm up, where you’ll have time to grab a snack, including crackers and cheese or something sweeter with a hot cup of tea/cofee to get you round the rest of the course. The second part sees you go out as far as Hertford Heath on the ‘long only’ section, where you’ll take in forest paths, before returning through Broxbourne, then back to the Brickendon Feed stop for a second time to refuel, before tackling the last 8 miles, heading towards Newgate Street, across farm field paths before arriving back to the HQ.

The HQ is minutes away from the M25 Junction 24 or for those on Public Transport Potters Bar station is very close with regular trains from London.
On the Day
You will have chosen at Start Wave during registration. Please refer to your entry confirmation email.
On the Day Registration
Some on the day entries are available but you must contact us first to go onto the entry on the day list, due to social distancing we have to strictly cap numbers. People who show up on the day without contacting us first will be unlikely to get a place.
People wishing to register on the day must fill a registration form and pay for their entry in cash. A form can be downloaded Here.
Other Information
We do our best to try and make sure your ride on the road runs as smoothly as possible by marking the roads clearly. If you have not seen a marker for a while, stop andp, ask someone, or find a landmark and call us consult your ma using the number provided on the day.
Once you complete the ride, make sure you report back to one of our team at the finish line and hand back the timing chip. We’ll make sure your time is recorded. If you do not report back, you may be presumed lost and emergency services may be called.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory. Failing to do so will result in refused entry.
