The HCC Tour Essex

Result for the Tour Essex can be seen at

The Tour Essex Sportive in partnership with Hornchurch Cycle Club will take place on Sunday the 19th of May 2024.

Hornchurch Cycle ClubWe’ll guide you through many of the wonderful road bike-friendly lanes that we at SportiveUK cycle regularly. Immaculate surfaces will get your wheels spinning making for an impressive average speed, but if you prefer to meander you’ll enjoy the beautiful Essex countryside in full bloom.

Grab a tasty snack at one of the three feed stops

All routes enjoy the picturesque roads of Essex that are known for their flattish nature, however, there are a few lumpy surprises in the last 10 miles that’ll certainly get your legs pumping. You’ll then be greeted onto the last 2km of the closed road circuit at Redbridge Cycling Centre – There are no cars here so you can really push it, and maybe have a friendly race with a mate.

A distance for everyone!

Tour Essex features a 42, 72, and 110-mile choice of routes that utilise many of the same spectacular roads as a certain British stage of a famous French race.
